Meeting Facilities and Historic Design

Løgumkloster Refugium offers meeting and conference facilities furnished with original Danish design classics from the 1950s by renowned designers including Børge Mogensen and Hans J. Wegner.

The meeting spaces are equipped with modern AV technology and wireless internet access, ensuring the smooth execution of meetings, seminars, and professional events. Facilities include lecture halls, smaller meeting rooms, inviting lounges with a grand piano and library, as well as a beautiful atrium garden featuring flowers, fruit trees, and peaceful corners for relaxation.

Guests can also borrow bicycles and fitness passes, while running and walking trails begin directly outside the refuge. Together, these facilities create excellent conditions for focused work, whether for smaller groups or individual working stays.

Monastic History and Nature Experiences

The location provides easy access to unique cultural and natural attractions, including the historic Løgumkloster Church and the Chapter House of the former Cistercian monastery, founded in 1173 and situated adjacent to the refuge.

Surrounded by meadows and waterways, the area is ideal for walk-and-talk sessions or peaceful walks through the natural landscape of Munkenes Enge (The Monks’ Meadows), where the local stream has recently been restored to its natural course. These surroundings offer a welcome respite from the working day and help create the calm and focus often needed for productive meetings and reflection.

Løgumkloster Refugium offers accommodation in 47 comfortable and well-appointed rooms, making it particularly suitable for multi-day stays, retreats, and extended workations.

Meals are an integral part of the experience, and the refuge kitchen is known for preparing flavourful Danish cuisine from scratch, often with a creative twist. Vegetarian options are always available at lunch and dinner alongside a selection of fresh salads, homemade bread, and cakes.

The high-quality catering provides an excellent foundation for productive working days. Practical logistics are ensured through convenient parking facilities and easy access to the area's cultural and historical attractions.
