From Nordborg Resort to Nørreskoven

Prepare your packed lunch and pack your swimsuit for a lovely bike ride in Nørreskoven Als.

Nørreskoven Als is Denmark's longest coastal forest, and in summer a walk under the shady canopy of beech leaves is a wonderful experience.

This bike ride is a lovely day in the forest, where you will pass ancient monuments and a castle complex, a castle ruin and sites of film, war and love stories. Along the way there are several places with table/bench sets where you can enjoy your packed lunch and at Fladbæk Beach you can take a dip in the Little Belt.

Description:
The cycle route between Nordborg Resort and Nørreskoven starts/ends at Nordborg Pier and the beach café, from here follow the road Havfruen in a southerly direction, past the public car park for day guests and on out of the resort along Brokbjergvej. The road is surrounded by beautiful nature with trees on both sides, which in some places form a hollow road, a beautiful tunnel, along the route. On the route to or from Nørreskoven, you are surrounded by open, wide fields and you pass some old farms. You'll pass Kock Design, a small stall selling woodwork and crafts. On your way in or out of Nørreskoven, you'll cycle past Nygård, the old forester's and forest ranger's residence. Nørreskoven is one of Denmark's longest coastal forests with its 9 kilometres along the water. In the forest you can get ‘lost’ on the many small routes into the forest, around the forest's many drop-off points or take a dip along the coast.
