Museum Wegner

The Wegner Museum is located on the farm Hestholm in Wegner's hometown; Tønder. Here, on the former marsh farm Hestholm, which has a long history dating back to the 14th century, Wegner's works are presented through a permanent exhibition and changing special exhibitions. The marsh farm and the two associated stables are located a stone's throw from the city limits. The museum will focus on Wegner's life, craftsmanship and iconic furniture - especially his famous chairs - and at the same time function as a center for Danish design with exhibitions, archives, workshops and a café. Experience a new, modern museum that pays tribute to Tønder's most famous designer and Danish furniture art of international class.
