Barsøhuset

By the water lies the yellow Barsøhus, which formerly operated as a summer hotel.

Today, the house is owned by farmers Helle & Søren Svennesen, who run the island’s only active farm. Guests from Barsøhus are welcome to take a look around the farm.

Barsøhus is rented out for overnight stays for larger groups, accommodating up to 40 people.

To reach Barsø, you need to take the Barsø ferry, which runs daily from the mainland. It is recommended to reserve ferry tickets in advance.
