Activity Days at Vibæk Mill

The history of the mill complex dates back to 1756. On activity days, you can discover what life and work around the mills was like and experience traditions and activities from days gone by.

Children can try their hand at traditional games and activities. On activity days in August, you can also see how crops were once harvested by hand using a scythe and gathered into stacks.

Taste bread from the old stone oven

The old stone oven is fired with wood to bake rye bread and white bread. Stop by the café for a refreshing drink and a taste of the freshly baked bread, or buy a loaf to take home.

You can also buy traditional ringrider sausages and draught beer.

Discover milling, art and crafts

Step inside the preserved watermill to see the historic milling machinery. When conditions allow and the necessary permission has been granted by the authorities, you can also see the watermill in operation.

Both the watermill and windmill host exhibitions and stalls featuring works by local artists and craftspeople, with items available to buy.
