Margarinepakke med ansigter
Sculpture in brick works and burnt clay, produced in 2004 by the local artist Vibeke Fonnesberg (1946-2024).
The sculpture is placed in a small inner courtyard at the Solo-building near The Spanish Stairs.
The Solo-building is an apartment house with 150 units; build on the grounds where the Margarine Factory Solo used to be.
The crumpled “paper” symbolises something thorn down – the yellow colour, margarine. The faces are portraits of the owners and general managers of the margarine factory as well as other outstanding personalities.
